I am Amir Abdullahpour, a graduate with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kurdistan. I am an analytical psychotherapist specializing in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP).

I began my clinical practice in 2021 (1400), coinciding with the start of my own personal therapy using this approach. I receive individual supervision to support my work, and the workshops and courses I attend are continuations of this same professional path.

In recent years, my research and study have focused intensively on personality and the dimensional structure of its components. My central effort has been to answer the question: How does personality (character and temperament) change?

Currently, I work with both adults and adolescents. My adult clients are individuals who, regardless of specific psychological issues (such as depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship dissatisfaction, or personality dysfunction), wish to gain insight into their conscious and unconscious dynamics. The second group consists of adolescents navigating the challenges of maturation, facing both individual and interpersonal struggles.

My passion for psychoanalysis and my commitment to learning led to the founding of “Taw”. Through Taw, my efforts in translating, editing, and authoring articles have materialized, making psychoanalytic content available in both Persian and Kurdish.
